singed phoenix

I based this on my earlier blood phoenix. I used sienna sticks, charcoal, and red India ink. I wanted the ink to have the same effect as the last painting. The feather at the bottom is the quill I used to apply the ink. I have this one for sale at Judi's Java Joint. She has some really amazing atrists on display, I would reccommend checking out some of their stuff. They put my pathetic attempts at art to shame. [link]
